Chattahoochee Hills, GA, November 10, 2020 — You are invited to the Southern Hands Artist Studio Tour which now includes artists at Serenbe, GA, for the first time. This event began 7 years ago with the mission to educate the general public about the process of creating art. We wanted to share with you the beauty of creating art and the fun and frustration of it all. Have you ever wondered what artists’ studios look like, or what an artist does or needs? If you have, then this tour is for you. If you haven’t, this tour is still for you! Included are artists from Fayette, Peachtree City & Tyrone, Coweta and now, Serenbe. The Chatt Hills Gallery, 9057 Selborne Lane, and The Paint Space, 10625 Serenbe Lane, Suite A, represent over 20 artists participating for the weekend of November 14, 9:00-5:00, and November 15, 11:00-5:00. The mediums represented are: oil painting, watercolor, mixed media, photography, ceramics, jewelry, and cast concrete. As you tour, you will discover that not all studios are the same and actually vary widely from one artist to another. You will see the tools they use and have them explain the process from supplies to finished pieces of one of a kind, handmade, art.
